Train (Death Railway)

Many friends who come to Kanchanaburi, Thailand, would like to take a train to the famous Death Railway. The rich family took a train from River Kwai Bridge Station to Nam Tok Station. The train was slightly delayed. The original schedule was about 1 hour and 30 minutes, but the final ride time was about 2 hours. The uniform price of foreign tourists' tickets is 100 baht. After getting on the train, you can buy tickets directly from the patrolling conductor. There is no need to buy in advance because the ticket booth at the station is not open (laughs). It is really casual.

Attached is the Kanchanaburi train timetable.

There is no air conditioning on the Death Railway train, but there are electric fans. Remember to find a seat closer to the electric fan. But to be honest, the windows of the train are all open, and the wind blowing in from the windows is also very strong, so I don’t think it’s stuffy, but remember to wear sunglasses to prevent the wind and sand outside from blowing into your eyes.

The shuttle bus is a cool cage bus that can hold about 8 passengers. I think it is quite stable to sit in. I hold the cage tightly and don't need to worry about safety. By the way, the bus is shared, so you may meet other passengers on the same route.
