This time we stayed at Ikeijima AJ Resort (English: Ikeijima AJ Resort, Japanese: AJ Resort Island Ikeijima), which is located at the top of Ikeijima Island and has a private beach and beautiful sunrise. Let's take a look at the rich man's unboxing.
Transportation at AJ Resort Hotel Ikeijima
AJ Resort Hotel Ikei Island is located on Ikei Island, about 90 minutes' drive from Naha Airport. It requires self-driving to arrive, which makes transportation more inconvenient.

The hotel provides free parking, and there are plenty of parking spaces, so you don't have to worry about having no place to park.

AJ Resort Hotel Ikeijima Prices
The time they stayed at the AJ Resort Hotel Ikei Island was in April, which was not yet the peak tourist season in Okinawa. Because there were really no other restaurants or shops near the hotel, they chose a package that included breakfast and dinner when booking the room. The price of a family room with breakfast and dinner was about NT$6,300, which the rich man thought was quite a good deal.

Introduction and Features of AJ Resort Hotel Ikeijima
AJ Resort Hotel Ikeijima is a resort-style hotel, so in addition to common hotel facilities such as an indoor lounge (table tennis, dart machines, and a simple children's play area), outdoor facilities include a swimming pool, a large lawn, and a small children's park where children can climb up and down and swing. The facilities are quite extensive, with user-paid tennis courts, ice rinks, bicycles, go-karts, Segways, etc. available for rent.
The lobby on the first floor of the hotel's main building has many seats for tourists to rest. The high-ceilinged space brings in natural light, and the atmosphere is bright and very comfortable.

Game Room
Located on the first floor of the main building, it has a large space but few facilities.

There are also billiards and dart machines available for free use.

Big Turf Park
It's like a small park with slides and swings for children.

Go-Kart Park
You can pay to participate in go-karting activities, but you must be at least 10 years old.

outdoor swimming pool
The hotel has a swimming pool. Taking 2025 as an example, the opening hours of the swimming pool announced on the official website are from April 26th to October 14th. So the rich man didn’t get to experience it this time, but he has seen that the staff are busy tidying up the swimming pool. He is looking forward to it!

Private beach
After checking in in the afternoon, we quickly went to the private beach of AJ Resort Hotel in Ikei Island to test the temperature of the sea water. The high temperature in Okinawa in early April is about 20 degrees, so the sea water temperature in Okinawa is still very cold, but the rich man still tried it and confirmed that there was no problem playing in the waves at the beach. Phew~ It's a bit cold. The private beach is about 8 minutes away from the residence.

The photo of the beach at 6pm in the evening was empty and seemed to be reserved. The rich man felt that the beach was well maintained and there was almost no garbage. The sand was fine white sand and not prickly when walking on it, but it was still recommended to wear shoes or slippers.

The reefs next to the beach are also beautiful. You can sit on them and take a photo.

spa
AJ Resort Hotel Ikeijima has the Ikeijima Hot Spring - Kuroshio-no-Yu, but unfortunately it is a facility that requires additional payment, and the price for adults is 1,000 yen.

Unboxing of the Family Room at AJ Resort Hotel Ikeijima
This time we stayed in a Japanese + Western style room with a sea view cottage and a Japanese cottage exterior. We also have standard rooms and other room types to choose from.

It includes two double beds and a Japanese-style mattress. The rich man thinks that if the children are still young, they can choose a standard room type (without Japanese tatami) to save some travel expenses.

There is a refrigerator as soon as you enter the door. The hotel provides free bottled water and there is also a massage chair in the room.

Wardrobe and quilt and mattress cabinet.

I haven’t seen two sinks for a long time. There is an independent toilet room on the right side of the sink, so you can concentrate without being disturbed.

On the left is the bathing area, which has a shower and a bathtub and is very spacious.

There is a small balcony where you can hang your wet swimsuit.

Unparalleled sea view sunrise
The room was right by the sea, and the rich man had never seen the sunrise. On a whim, he checked the sunrise time and it was 6:23, so he decided to try his luck and see if he could capture the beautiful scenery of the rising sun.
At 5:58 in the morning, the sky was already bright, so those who want to experience the full sunrise should go earlier.

Walking a little further towards the beach, at 6:16, a faint bright spot appeared.

At 6:21, the sun officially appeared.

I returned to the Japanese cottage at 6:40 to catch up on some sleep. In the photos I took from the balcony before going to bed, the brightness of the sun was already very obvious and it was so dazzling.

breakfast
The dining area is right next to the main building and also has a high-ceiling space.

The breakfast buffet includes Western-style scrambled eggs, bacon, Japanese meatballs and other dishes.

Japanese shabu shabu with all-purpose sesame sauce.

Okinawa Taco Rice tastes a bit like curry rice and is salty. The rich man prefers curry rice.

A variety of Japanese side dishes, including the rich man’s wife’s favorite Chinese-style stir-fried squid, shallot fish and fish cake.

Today's fruits are pineapple and banana. The pineapple from Okinawa is quite sour and delicious.

A rich man’s breakfast, when you come to Japan, you must have a cup of cantaloupe Fanta.

All-you-can-eat barbecue
The dinner included in this trip is an all-you-can-eat yakiniku buffet. If you purchase it on site, it will cost 3,750 yen for adults, 2,450 yen for children, and 1,000 yen for infants. You can compare the prices.

The meat selection is quite rich, with two types of beef, two types of pork, and two types of chicken, as well as sausages, chicken skewers, and mussels. The beef is especially worth mentioning, it is tender and delicious.

The vegetable section also has a wide variety of choices, including lettuce salad, corn shoots, king oyster mushrooms, green peppers and pumpkins. The variety is quite complete and it is also very friendly to friends who like vegetarian food.

The dining time is only 90 minutes, plus I was delayed a bit by going to the beach at the beginning, so I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes late. Hurry up and grill it!

In addition to barbecue meals, there are also sashimi, fried food, Japanese hot food, curry rice, kimchi, miso soup, fruit, ice cream, drink bar, etc., but alcoholic drinks are charged extra. The rich man thinks that the variety of meals is quite rich.
Rich man evaluation
Overall, the rich man felt that the experience at AJ Resort Hotel Ikei Island was quite good. The hotel has a private beach and should be very popular in the summer; the food is also satisfactory. The only pity is that the hot springs require additional payment, but overall, it is still highly recommended to friends who plan to travel to Okinawa.
