Thailand Elephant Camp

My visit to Elephant Paradise, an elephant camp in Kanchanaburi, was truly a magical experience. I highly recommend it to everyone. Unlike elephant shows, this camp is all about serving the elephants, not riding them. We spent the day enjoying the elephants, including preparing meals, feeding them, and giving them mud baths. I hope to contribute a little to caring for these rescued elephants. Bangkok city transportation

You should install the Grab or Bolt app to make taxis more convenient. Bangkok traffic is truly terrible. Millionaires were stuck in traffic at places like Siam World and Central World at 10 or 11 PM. An alternative is taking a motorcycle taxi. Motorbikes can weave in and out of traffic jams, which is exciting. It's no problem for one person, but if you're traveling with an older person, you'll have to take a tuk-tuk. Long-distance bus

The transportation from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi is a mini van, which costs about 130 baht. However, the ride takes about 2.5 to 3.5 hours, and there are no rest stops along the way, so be prepared. Souvenir

Rich people can buy all kinds of souvenirs at Mixed Chatuchak, including hand-labeled Thai milk tea, mint sticks, squid slices, and small boss seaweed. For details, please refer toWhere to buy the best souvenirs in BangkokThis article.

rich man experience

Arrived at Don Muang International Airport at 8:30 pm. The customs clearance was incredibly fast. They didn't even check my TDAC during customs, which was strange. It only took 20 minutes to get to the baggage carousel and wait for my luggage.

It is better to choose a hotel in Bangkok city near the main MRT lines (light green line and dark green line). This time the rich man chose the yellow line. There are not many shops nearby at night and it is quite dark.

I accidentally came across MONO LOOP, a second-hand store from Japan. The number of toys, classic vinyl records, cameras and other goods is even larger than in Japan. You can come and have a look.

Overall, Kanchanaburi was unexpectedly fun. Although I felt a bit rushed staying for two days, the elephants in Elephant World were unforgettable. The volunteer experience was very good and fulfilling. It was a very special experience to be able to get close to the elephants. I highly recommend it!
