You can take the Nagoya Railway and get off at the &quot;Jingumae&quot; station or the Nagoya Municipal Subway &quot;Jingu West&quot; station. Atsuta Shrine is one of the three major Shinto shrines in Japan, second only to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelamenitiesking.com\/en\/isejingu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ise Grand Shrine<\/a>Atsuta Jingu has always been respected by people, and members of the Japanese royal family will visit it regularly. It is a very important shrine in Japan. The shrine is dedicated to one of the three gods of Ise in Japanese mythology \u2013 Atsuta Okami. There are many festivals and events held in Atsuta Shrine every year. The most famous one is the &quot;Atsuta Festival&quot; held on June 5 every year. It is one of the three major festivals in Japan and has been listed in Japan&#039;s intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, during World War II, part of the building was destroyed by fire. After the war, believers across Japan worked together to donate money and begin reconstruction. The main building was finally restored in 1955. It houses the Kusanagi sword, one of the three artifacts in Japanese mythology. Excalibur appears in many Japanese anime and science fiction. In the film, anime fans or those who like Japanese weapons should not miss it. The Kusanagi Sword was originally called Tiancongyun Sword. It is said that it is the magic sword that appeared at the tail of Susano when he eliminated the eight-headed snake (Yaki no Orochi).
