Kaidu Plaza Hotel will grandly open in the spring of 2023, covering an area of 10 hectares. Its core value is "you can have a cruise experience without going out to sea". From the hotel architecture, landscape to various experience activities, you can see the intention of the management.
The hotel counter is on the second floor. The waiting area is beautifully designed, continuing the cruise theme. The colors are also very coordinated, which is amazing and puts you in a perfect holiday mood.
The welcome drink was really nice. The wealthy family arrived at the hotel around 1:30 pm. Although it was not yet check-in time, they were able to use the hotel facilities first.

There will be a free movie at 8pm that night. The movie is The Great Adventurer and free popcorn will be provided on site.
Optional activities
The hotel offers a number of paid activities, so you won't be bored even if you spend a whole day there. This time, the wealthy family took part in a tour of Guishan Island, a whale (dolphin) watching tour, and afternoon tea. The wealthy family also saw some tourists enjoying horseback riding through the coconut grove, which was also quite pleasant and reasonably priced.

Kids Club
The Kids Club is a place where young tycoons will be fascinated. They highly recommend the mini-golf in the game area, which offers 18 levels of fun for both adults and children. They also offer all-you-can-play Switch consoles.
It's a huge indoor maze, but there seems to be only one way to go, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. I didn't expect that the little rich guy had grown up and kept his head out, so I found him right away (laughs).
There were also paid arcades nearby. I found this Japanese tank game. The chair vibrates when you fire a shell, which is really immersive. You can even play online! A wealthy father and son team up to fight off a giant monster invading the city. It was really fun. Before I knew it, I'd used up 10 tokens and was about to get scolded.
Outdoor water area

The outdoor pool at the Kaidu Plaza Hotel is the only outdoor saltwater swimming pool in Taiwan, allowing guests to swim in real seawater without having to step into the ocean. However, please remember to wear goggles when swimming in the saltwater pool, as the seawater can be very uncomfortable in your eyes. Facilities include:

Towels, life jackets, swimming rings and lockers are provided at the entrance of the swimming pool.
A huge seawater pool. There are slides and water guns for you to play with, as well as shrimp swimming rings where you can relax and lie down, but you will be sprayed by the water guns.
But the speed was a bit slow, so in the end it became the rich man who was pushing (laughs).
There are also water beds where you can run and jump, but be careful not to fall. The rich man lies on the water bed and feels the vibrations caused by the children running and jumping.
Public baths and hot springs

The public bath on the third floor draws alkaline sodium bicarbonate springs from 1,300 meters below the ground. Crafted from rock, fragrant cedar, and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, it creates a soothing haven featuring three hot springs, one cold spring, and a sauna. It's worth noting that the public baths at the Kaidu Plaza Hotel are private baths, but those who are shy can upgrade to a private room for an additional fee. Free popsicles are provided to cool down afterward. By the way, when the wealthy man arrived at 8 a.m. to soak, he didn't see anyone else. Sharing this with everyone.

Kaidu Plaza, Seaview Trail
The green grass provides a vast view. When you walk to the end, you can see Guishan Island quietly emerging in the sky, interweaving with the blue sea view to form a beautiful picture.
There are towering coconut trees. There are also some swings nearby for you to play on. If you sign up for the horseback riding activity, you can take a walk here.
PARKING LOT
The indoor parking lot is on the underground floor with wide lanes. Many cars are parked there on weekdays during the summer vacation, so business is good.

This time we stayed on the 9th floor. There are more than 50 rooms on one floor, and the floor space is very spacious!

This time, the room I booked was a sea view room facing Guishan Island with two single beds.
The whole atmosphere in the room is really great. In response to environmental protection, the hotel no longer provides disposable supplies (toothbrushes, toothpaste).

A kettle and an ice bucket! It's really thoughtful. In the summer, it's best to add ice cubes to your drinks to cool down and beat the heat.

The bathroom is also spacious and has a separate bathtub. Friends who don’t like crowding can take a bath in the room while enjoying the view outside the window.
An automatic flush bidet toilet is very convenient as you don’t have to look for the flush button.
There is also a sofa on the balcony where you can sit and relax all day long.
The view from the sea view rooms is very good. If the weather is good, you can see Guishan Island at a glance, but this angle is actually the back of the turtle, and the turtle's head can only be seen from the other side.
On the left is the Wushigang surfing paradise – Waiao Beach. In the hot summer, you can see many surfing experts.

The dinner buffet was held at Pelago on the second floor. I thought the food was quite good. The chef, a foreigner, seemed very dedicated in overseeing the dishes, which I highly recommend. Pelago is divided into the following areas:
- Fresh food section – Japanese sashimi, shrimp, crab, salad
- Beverage area – canned drinks, beer, fresh juice, coffee machine
- Cooked Food Area – Fried Food, Hot Food, Hong Kong-style Roast Meats
- Dessert area – ice cream, tofu pudding, cakes, fresh fruits
- Soup area – beef soup, corn soup, etc.
- Exotic Food Zone – Central Asian Exotic Food
- Freshly Cooked Area – Ramen, Teppanyaki, and Steamed Eggs
- Kids Zone – Pizza, small cakes
In the exotic food section, there was a freshly grilled shawarma, a thin pancake wrapped around freshly cut grilled chicken. The aroma was so overwhelming that I couldn't resist ordering one, but the rich man thought it tasted just average (laughs).
Indian specialty snacks.
The cooked food area had steaks, lamb chops, and fresh fish, but unfortunately they weren't hot enough. The wealthy man had two bowls of Japanese ramen, which was a real loss.
Full of seasonal fruits, full of sincerity.
There are also nostalgic desserts – tofu pudding, ice cream (Cold Stone), egg tarts and other desserts, and the meal is rich.

I highly recommend the Kaidu Plaza Hotel. A hotel with a sea view is truly wonderful; it's truly relaxing and therapeutic. The hotel's facilities are excellent, with an outdoor pool and mini-golf for the whole family. I also personally enjoyed the food, pushing the Jiaoxi Hanmu Hotel, which I had originally chosen as the top choice, out of the top spot.
Kaidu Plaza Hotel is near Wushi Harbor, where you can arrange whale watching, dolphin watching, and visiting Guishan Island. There are also many seafood restaurants where you can enjoy seasonal seafood!

Three visits to Mu Hotel Jiaoxi, Yilan
The Hanmu Hotel in Jiaoxi, Yilan, is part of the Hanshe Group. I love to play with electric racing cars here. This was my third visit to the Hanmu Hotel in Jiaoxi. The difference this time was that I had to add an extra bed. The price for one night, including breakfast and dinner, was over NT$14,000—not cheap!
